This figure was highly anticipated by those who still aren’t sure of which Kirino to buy – as in, me. The draft looked promising, but I must say I’m a little bit disappointed in the way it turned out when coloured. Here she is, in all her Summer and tsundere glory:
I’m still a bit confused wether this is the standard version or the limited one. I just know that the standard one comes with two or three different faces, as shown in this promotional picture:
I think this will be something like Wave’s Taiga – the limited version will be exactly the same as the standard one, but it came with that extra hair-style (the buns). I just can’t point out which if these faces is the limited edition one, but if someone here understands Japanese, please feel free to help me!
The edge of the bikini looks a bit sketchy. Maybe it’s just in this one sample, but I’m not willing to take the risk. The bikini is cute enough and the whole figure, seen from a distance, is pitch-Kirino-perfect but first, I am a girl, therefore not very interested in bikini versions of female characters and second, the more I buy, the more picky I get. And this one doesn’t quite fit my standards.
Another optional expression.
And another, this one being my favourite. Plus, notice the little nail polish details on the hands and feet.
Back view. I like how they chose this type of bikini instead of the G-String type these sort of figures usually wear.
This figure will come out in June 2011. The price hasn’t been announced as of yet, but we can expect something around ¥3800 for the standard version and ¥4410 for the limited one.
